Welsh Slate

Probably the best decorative aggregate for character, visual impact, excellent resistance to algal growth and weeds. Also a major deterrent to cats, snails and slugs.

Available in plum and green, and Paddlestones.

Coverage: 1 tonne of 20 mm slate will cover around 20 square metres, about 30 mm thick and the same quantity of 40 mm about 18 square metres at 30 mm thick.

Uses: Ideal for low maintenance areas, foot and light vehicular duty such as parking areas and water features. Recommended that weed control membrane is used underneath.

Tip: For added impact use plum slate as a base and scatter green slate over the top in the ratio of 1 bag of green to 3 bags of plum.

Availability: Available in poly bags, bulk bags and loose in bulk.

Discounts are available for cash and carry on tonne quantities.
